[It’s late evening when Melanie returns from her mission, and despite the rain, she’s just glad to be back.

She's got a few small scrapes and bruises here and there and she's feeling exhausted, but she'll worry about all of that later. First she's off to the item shop so she can get a damn umbrella, because like hell she's walking back to CH1 in this rain. Sure, she doesn't mind the weather, but she's not exactly fond of getting soaking wet, either.

So, once that's taken care of, Melanie will head back to her apartment so she can clean herself up.

... Oh, yeah. Should probably take care of something else, too.]

Happy anniversary. [Six months is something that should be acknowledged, right? ... Well, it's the longest that she's ever been with anyone, at least. So that counts for something.]

[Kind of funny to think that their anniversary is going to be spent watching movies and eating junk food, but that's what happens when one's brought back on the day of. Oh well - works for her.]

[Okay good, because his definition of fancy is nachos. With some melted nacho cheese.]

Are you sure? I was thinking of Twinkies next?

As if I could say 'no' to something like that.

I don't know. You might decide a diet is a good idea after tonight. [He tosses in some MORE snack cakes.]

Either that or just make up for it by spending more time working out in the battle dome.

Ahh, now that sounds like a workout I want to watch. Maybe you should do that tonight. I'll have all these snacks while I watch.

And let you slack off while I do a bunch of hard work? I don't think so.

But then I'd be too distracted to enjoy it!
